New Pill Shown To Greatly Reduce AIDS Infection | A new study found that a pill called Truvada greatly reduces infection rates of the AIDS virus by as much as 78 percent. The study involved more than 1,200 men and women in Botswana where half received a daily dose and the other was given a placebo. At the end of the study, only 4 out of the 600 in the experimental group had contracted the disease. –Jen Kalaidis
