Mediscare: Group Claims Health Law’s Cost Commission Is ‘Like A Medicare IRS’ | The Coalition to Protect Patients’ Rights (CPPR) is out with a new ad trashing health reform’s Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) for denying care to seniors “like a Medicare IRS.” Political Correction has the full debunk here, but also know that this comes out on the very day that former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) conceded that the debt ceiling deal most of the Republicans voted for is actually a lot like the IPAB.
