Chris Christie Calls On Obama To Expedite ACA Case To Supreme Court

During an event on Thursday, Gov. Chris Christie said President Obama should ask the Supreme Court to take up question of the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act in an effort to minimize uncertainty surrounding the new law. Last week, an appellate court struck down the individual mandate provision, creating a split in the circuits and almost guaranteeing that the law will eventually reach the high court. Back in April, the Supreme Court rejected a call “from Virginia’s attorney general to depart from its usual practice and put review of the health care law on a fast track.”
