Lieberman And Coburn: Super Committee Should Increase Medicare Age | Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Tom Coburn (R-OK) — who earlier this year floated a proposal to increase the Medicare eligibility age — have written a letter to the super committee requesting that it take up their plan. President Obama had considered increasing the age as part of a broader effort to reduce the deficit, but left it out of his latest proposal.
