Sebelius Explains Health Care Reform On Jon Stewart’s ‘Daily Show’

But the bulk of Stewart’s questions focused on the state health insurance exchanges and the balance between the federal and state governments for oversight. The federal government framed the benefits, Sebelius said, but emphasized that the states have great flexibility to decide which services insurers will have to provide. “The way the law was written in the first place is that states get to take the lead,” Sebelius told Stewart.
