MAP: Women Would Pay Higher Premiums Than Men If SCOTUS Strikes Down ACA | The Affordable Care Act includes a provision that prohibits health insurance companies from charging women higher premiums than men. Should the Supreme Cout overturn the law, however, women who purchase health care in the individual market could pay up to 100 percent more for their health care coverage in some parts of the country:
