Banks Already Taking Advantage Of Supreme Court Decision Expanding Forced Arbitration | Last April, the Supreme Court handed down a 5-4 decision that entrenches corporations’ ability to force consumers to sign away their right to hold the company accountable in court — and instead shunt all disputes into a privatized, corporate arbitration system. As the Wall Street Journal reports, many banks are already seizing upon this decision and shoving their consumers into forced arbitration agreements.
