- The Supreme Court appears poised to limit police’s ability to track suspects with GPS devices without first obtaining a warrant.
- Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli appears to make facts up out of thin air about the cost of fighting air pollution.
- The California Supreme Court is likely to reject a claim that restaurants are required to ensure that their workers are not working during breaks because, as Justice Goodwin Liu explained, “the hallmark of a meal period that the employer is essentially supposed to suspend control over that employee.”
- It’s a pretty good sign that Herman Cain is in trouble when right-wing publications stop comparing him to Clarence Thomas and start comparing him to Bill Clinton.
