- The man who hacked into reality TV star Sarah Palin’s email account during her ill-fated bid for the vice-presidency did not receive a favorable audience from a federal appeals court considering his conviction.
- The DC Circuit will consider whether bank robbers who use automatic weapons need to know that the gun they are using is automatic in order to receive a stiffer sentence.
- Meanwhile, the Nevada Supreme Court holds that felons within that state cannot own antique or muzzle-loading firearms.
