Sheldon Adelson Gives $5M To Pro-House GOP Super PAC | Casino billionaire and anti-union activist Sheldon Adelson turned his sights to the House Republican majority. In recent months Adelson gave $7.5 million to the pro-Newt Gingrich Winning Our Future Super PAC, a total matched by his wife Miriam. Now, Adelson has given a $5 million donation to the Congressional Leadership Fund, a Super PAC dedicated to preserving a right-wing Republican House majority. The super PAC is amusingly co-chaired by former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN), a consultant to the Republican Jewish Coalition, and Fred Malek, who infamously served as President Richard Nixon’s “Jew counter.” Adelson previously claimed he is “against very wealthy Âpeople” influencing elections.
