"Supreme Court Strikes Down Stolen Valor Law"

The Supreme Court has struck down the Stolen Valor Act of 2005, which sought to ban unauthorized people from wearing military decorations or medals. Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote a plurality opinion and Justices Samuel Alito, Antonin Scalia, and Clarence Thomas dissented.
