- The classified ad site Craigslist has abandoned its previous policy of demanding the right to sue other ad sites that reproduce ads posted on Craigslist.
- George Zimmerman, the man on trial for the alleged murder of Trayvon Martin, formally requested a hearing seeking to invoke Florida’s “stand your ground” law that has been widely criticized for enabling people to get away with murder.
- Justice Ginsburg offers a calm reminder of how she and her colleagues decide cases: “People change their minds about what they thought. So it isn’t at all something extraordinary, and that’s how it should work. We’re in the process of trying to persuade each other and then the public.”
