New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D) claims that it “never crossed his mind” why someone would be offended by the fact that he wore blackface, an Afro wig and a basketball jersey during a costume party he hosted to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim:
Although Hikind claims he meant no offense by wearing the racist costume, he also says he does not regret wearing it.
