United Methodist Church Votes To Allow Same-Sex Marriages | In a surprising move, the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church voted Saturday to allow pastors to perform same-sex marriages where they are legal, such as in the District of Columbia. The United Methodist Church’s General Conference will have to approve the resolution next April before it can take effect.
