DC Mayor To Congress: Leave District’s Same-Sex Marriage Law Alone | D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray joined activists Wednesday to urge Congress not to attach social policy “riders” to the District’s budget when a House appropriations subcommittee meets next week. City officials are “concerned that Republicans may target the city’s laws on same-sex marriage, medical marijuana and guns.”
