Arkansas Paper Apologizes, Adopts LGBT Inclusive Obituary Policy | An Arkansas newspaper that intentionally omitted a same-sex partner from an obituary has apologized to the widower and changed its policy. The paper’s spokesman, Oscar Jones, told GLAAD, “When a gay person loses their partner, the loss is no less, and they need to be treated the same.”
