Maryland Coalition To Launch New Marriage Equality Campaign | Today, a coalition of groups will launch a new effort to bring marriage equality to Maryland. Modeled after New York’s similar coalition, the campaign will include Equality Maryland, Progressive Maryland, the ACLU, the Human Rights Campaign, Freedom to Marry, Service Employees International Union, among others. An effort to pass marriage equality died in the Maryland House of Delegates this past March after passing the Senate. (HT: The Washington Blade.)
