Oneonta, New York To Waive Waiting Period For Same-Sex Couples | The City of Oneonta, New York is offering a special waiver that “will allow some same sex couples to obtain marriage licenses and get married on July 24, 2011″ — the day the state’s same-sex marriage law goes into effect. Typically, marriage license applications take 24 hours to process.
