One Anchorage Campaign Seeks LGBT Non-Discrimination Protections | Equality Works has launched a ballot initiative campaign to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the Anchorage, AK equal rights code. The non-discrimination protections would apply to employment, housing, financial practices, municipal practices, and education. The Anchorage Assembly previously passed such an ordinance, but the mayor vetoed it.
