San Antonio Approves Domestic Partnership Benefits | In a 7-4 vote today, the San Antonio City Council approved domestic partner benefits for both gay and straight employees as part of the city’s 2012 budget. San Antonio is the seventh-largest city in the country. Opponents of the measure recently held a rally using outdated signs to argue that the that the gay “lifestyle” may be a choice.
