Census Bureau Offers Revised Estimates For Same-Sex Couples | The Williams Institute has processed new estimates for the number of same-sex couples living throughout the United States using preferred estimates from the Census Bureau. There are nearly 650,000 same-sex couples, about 132,000 (20 percent) of whom identify as spouses. Here are the new state-by-state snapshots:
