Santorum Pledges To ‘Fight In Every State’ To Outlaw Marriage Equality | Rick Santorum pledged to “fight in every state to make sure that marriage remains between one man and one woman” if elected president, during his speech this afternoon at the Values Voter Summit. Santorum also reiterated his support for a federal amendment to outlaw same-sex marriage, but did not say how he would treat married gay couples in the six states that already allow for marriage equality.
