Former Ex-Gay Leader: Marcus Bachmann’s Ex-Gay Therapy Is ‘Horrific’ | John Smid, former Love In Action executive director, recently began apologizing to former patients, admitting that the ex-gay therapy he promoted does not work and confessing that he is gay. Despite this revelation, he intends to honor the commitment he made to his wife by staying faithful to her. Yesterday, he shared his story with Chris Matthews on MSNBC and condemned Marcus Bachmann’s description of gays as “barbarians” as “horrific.” Watch it:
