Russ Feingold Endorses Tammy Baldwin For Senate | Former Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold (D) officially endorsed Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D) to fill retiring Sen. Herb Kohl’s (D) seat, the Huffington Post’s Amanda Terkel reports. If elected, Baldwin would become America’s first openly gay senator. Baldwin has yet to face a Democratic primary opponent, but at least three Republican candidates are vying for the GOP nomination, including Mark Neumann, who had promised to eradicate homosexuality if he were God.
