New analysis from the Pew Research Center shows how support for marriage equality is growing among all age groups, but the younger people are, the more likely they are to show support. About 59 percent of millennials favor legalizing same-sex marriage over just 33 percent of Silents. These findings jibe with an August report from the Public Religion Research Institute demonstrating millennials’ strong opinions on LGBT equality. This chart from Pew shows the consistent trending among generational groups as well as the distinct differences between them:
