Philadelphia To Require Contractors To Offer Same-Sex Benefits For Workers | The Philadelphia City Council approved a measure on Friday that would require contractors and subcontractors who work on projects valued at more than $250,000 to provide “health care coverage and other benefits to the same-sex partners of their workers.”
