Mark Cuban: NBA Will Welcome Gay Player | The owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, told TMZ this weekend that he expects there will be an openly gay NBA player sometime in the next three to five years. He clarified, though, that he thinks when it happens it will be “more of a media sensation…than a player issue.” The NBA recently added sexual orientation to its nondiscrimination statement.
