A local Fox affiliate in Maryland has modified a prominent link to a referendum seeking to repeal marriage equality from its website, after activists accused the station of blurring the line between news and activism. The station, Fox 45, initially linked readers to “Same-Sex Marriage Petition,” but ultimately changed its language to a more neutral phrasing of “Same-Sex Marriage” and now directs readers to a “landing pages that provide a little more context on the issues”:
