Delaware Governor: Marriage Equality Is ‘Inevitable’ | Delaware Gov. Jack Markell (D) said today that his state will follow Maryland’s lead and take up marriage equality “probably within the next few years.” He noted Delaware’s recent advancements such as nondiscrimination protections based on sexual orientation and same-sex civil unions, suggesting that same-sex marriage is “inevitable.”
