"European Parliament Condemns Anti-Gay Laws"

Last week, the European Parliament adopted a resolution condemning laws that specifically target the gay community, including those proposed or enacted in nations like Russia, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine that “restrict freedom of expression and assembly.” Passed 430-105, the resolution calls on all countries to “demonstrate, and ensure respect for, the principle of non-discrimination.”
