Weeks after documents revealed that one Mitt Romney’s political action committees made an undisclosed $10,000 contribution in 2008 to the National Organization for Marriage (NOM), the California state government has begun an investigation of the anti-LGBT group’s finances. NOM has frequently sought to avoid state disclosure laws to avoid identifying its donors.
