"POLL: Oregon Voters Support Marriage Equality"

Support was polarized across partisan lines, with Democrats supporting the freedom to marry 74-20 while Republicans oppose it 11-80. Still, a full 74 percent support some form of legal recognition for same-sex couples through either marriage (44 percent) or civil unions (30 percent), with only 23 percent saying no rights should be afforded.
