Trans Model Petitions World Health Organization For Affirmation

Jenna Talackova made international headlines earlier this year when the Miss Universe Canada pageant originally refused to let her compete because she is transgender. Not only was she eventually allowed to compete, but she placed in the top 12. Now, Talackova is reaching out the World Health Organization, petitioning the organization to stop classifying transgender identities as mental disorders.
