- The Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins has encouraged the National Organization for Marriage’s boycott of Betty Crocker (as part of General Mills) because it provided cakes to marrying same-sex couples in Minnesota, even though it condemns all boycotts by pro-LGBT groups.

- NOM has once again reminded that it opposes all forms of “technological paths to parenthood,” regardless of whether it’s a gay or straight couple.

- No longer self-censoring, John Stemberger of the new anti-gay scouting alternative, Trail Life USA, has admitted that he thinks affirming gay identities is a form of abuse.

- The transgender woman who was refused service at a Saskatoon bridal shop has reached a settlement with the store through mediation.

- The Russian government has warned a television network for airing a French musical called Les Chanson d’Amour because it contains “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations.” BuzzFeed takes a look at the film that’s too gay for Russia.

- Two-time Olympic gold-medal winner Seth Wescott condemned Russia’s anti-gay law, expressing his concern it could lead to an “incredibly negatively-overshadowed Olympics.”
