– Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum will not defend the state’s ban on same-sex marriage.

– A Maryland Senate committee advanced a bill that would extend nondiscrimination protections to transgender people.

– LGBT advocates once again blocked the Idaho Senate, demanding nondiscrimination protections.

– Two New Mexico judges have announced they will no longer officiate weddings because they refuse to officiate for same-sex couples.

– At California’s Redwood Middle School, 300 students held a protest to support two of their gay classmates after a social media rumor implied that the school wouldn’t let them be together. The school has also formed a gay-straight alliance now.

– Pat Robertson once again suggested that gay people can be rehabilitated, just like murderers.

– A new study finds that openly gay college faculty are less comfortable in their work environments than their closeted peers.

– The United States placed 40th out of 103 countries in a new scorecard about the inclusion of LGBT servicemembers in the military.

– An online support group for Russian LGBT teens has been acquitted of violating the country’s law banning “gay propaganda.”

Finland’s Parliament will begin considering marriage equality legislation.

– Uganda’s anti-homosexuality bill has reportedly been signed into law.

– Jason Collins may be signed by the New York Nets.
