Iraqi prime minister to propose timetable.

Newsweek reports on a draft copy of a national reconciliation plan soon to be announced by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. It will ask for a firm U.S. withdrawal plan to be enforced by a United Nations resolution. Kevin Drum thinks Bush should seize on the plan to declare victory and “assure everyone that the job is close to done.”
