Sen. George Allen (R-VA) is accused

of possibly calling a 20-year-old volunteer of Indian descent on his opponent’s campaign a “monkey” (macaca). “This fellow here over here with the yellow shirt, Macaca, or whatever his name is. He’s with my opponent. … Lets give a welcome to Macaca, here. Welcome to America and the real world of Virginia.” The volunteer, S.R. Sidarth, was born and raised in Virginia. (Video here.)
