Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), the outgoing Armed Services Committee chairman and “close ally” of criminal ex-Rep. Duke Cunningham (R-CA), says “he sees no need to revive an oversight and investigations subcommittee to question current and proposed Pentagon policies.” Rep. Ike Skelton (D-MO), the expected incoming chairman, thinks otherwise.
