In a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) expressed his desire not to have a debate over Iraq, saying “let us declare a truce in the Washington political war over Iraq until [the] end of summer.” Last night, Stephen Colbert summed up Lieberman’s position: end to the war in Congress so the war in Iraq can continue in peace.
