Moments ago, the Senate voted 51-47 to pass a “war spending bill that would require U.S. combat troops to leave Iraq by the end of March 2008, ignoring a veto threat from President Bush.”
UPDATE: Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) voted against the spending bill. Sens. Gordon Smith (R-OR) and Chuck Hagel (NE) crossed party lines to vote for the bill. Sen. Mark Pryor (D-AR), who voted to remove the Iraq time line earlier this week, nevertheless voted for the full bill.
