Time hires The Note creator Mark Halperin.

Via Atrios, ABC’s former news director Mark Halperin — who calls Matt Drudge the “Walter Cronkite of his era” and believes the media is too liberal and that “we’ve got to fix that” by “prov[ing] to conservatives that we understand their grievances” — has been hired by Time magazine as an editor-at-large and senior political analyst.
