Reid and Pelosi sign bill, Bush to veto tonight.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) held a signing ceremony this afternoon before sending their Iraq war timeline legislation to President Bush. Bush will veto the bill tonight and make a public statement at 6:10pm ET.

Americans United, which placed a 50ft “Mission Accomplished?” banner in front of the White House yesterday, has created a new ad that will begin running as soon as Bush vetoes the bill. Watch it:

UPDATE: “The White House is asking the TV networks and cable channels to carry Bush’s statement live. In his remarks, according to the White House, Bush will outline the reasons for his veto, and make it clear he’s willing to work with Congress — beginning tomorrow — to find a solution.”
