Yesterday, former U.S. attorney Thomas Heffelfinger lightheartedly criticized Kyle Samspon and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales for saying they considered firing him because Heffelfinger had no “federal prosecution experience” prior to taking the job as U.S. attorney in Minnesota.
