House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) yesterday called on the ethics committee to begin an immediate investigation of indicted Rep. William Jefferson (D-LA). (Boehner made no mention of the several conservatives currently under federal investigation.) Today, the House approved a measure calling on the ethics committee to investigate all members of the House “indicted or otherwise formally charged with criminal conduct.”
