Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), who gave a speech last night as part of Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, will announce at a press conference today that he has been hired as a bi-weekly columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer. In April, Inquirer editor Brian P. Tierney told Philadelphia Magazine that there was a “one out of 1,000” chance Santorum would write a column for the paper. (HT: Atrios)
UPDATE: Attending an Islamo-Fascism Week event last night, Santorum said Islam is “not just something you do on Sunday.” Actually, the Muslim holy day of prayer is on Friday.
