Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will make his seventh trip to Iraq over the Thanksgiving holiday as part of a small congressional delegation. In March, McCain was mocked for suggested he could “walk through” neighborhoods unarmed in Baghdad. In April, he strolled through a Baghdad market, escorted by 100 soldiers, 3 Blackhawk helicopters, and 2 Apache gunships.
UPDATE: McCain will be joined by Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), among others.
