In November, Julie Myers, head of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division, came under fire for “awarding ‘most original costume’ to a Homeland Security Department employee who dressed in prison stripes, dreadlocks and dark makeup for a Halloween gathering at the agency.” A look at some of the offensive photos, which ICE had originally said were destroyed:

The employee in the prison costume had been “dressed in this costume during his entire shift at work all day.”
