Podhoretz receives right-wing honors.

Last week, the right-wing blog Powerline announced that it was naming Norman Podhoretz‘s latest book, World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism, as the “Powerline book of the year.” According to Powerline, Podhoretz’s book is a “passionate defense of the Bush Doctrine” that “dwarfs in scope and ambition just about all of the works published on current events in 2007.” Podhoretz will be honored in Manhattan tonight with a $25,000 donation in his name to Soldier’s Angels and a dinner featuring Henry Kissinger.
