Wisconsin Republican Being Targeted By Recall Hopes Public Workers Are ‘Sleeping’ During The Election | In a “secretly recorded talk” to a local group of Republicans last week, Wisconsin state Sen. Dan Kapanke, who will likely be facing a recall election, said he was worried about the “tons” of public workers in his district. “We gotta hope that they [the public workers], kind of, are sleeping on July 12th – or whenever the (election) date is,” he told the group.
