In recent days Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has called Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump a “lunatic,” a “con man” and unprepared to be commander-in-chief.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has said Trump would be a “disaster” for the nation.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has said Trump “divides the country” and produced an ad that “alluded to a comparison between Trump and Adolf Hitler.”

But soon they all may be Trump supporters. The three men, asked during the Fox News Debate in Michigan, unequivocally stated they would support Trump should he win the nomination.

The pledges seemingly undermined their efforts to paint Trump as an unacceptable choice. They were also a blow to the #NeverTrump movement, a growing number of Republicans who have pledged not to support Trump under any circumstances.

Trump has a 69 percent chance of securing the Republican nomination, according to Predictwise.
